Pawsibilities Unleashed
is a unique pilot program
that has brought
specially-bred Labrador
Retriever puppies to the
Palm Beach County
Stockade Drug Farm to
be raised to be
assistance dogs. Animals
101 is proud to be
coordinating this effort.

We are in need of puppy sitters. The job
of a puppy sitter is to take the puppies
home for an overnight visit and to socialize
them by bringing them  to restaurants,
grocery stores, church, etc. They are
service dogs in training so it is
encouraged that they go into public places
where they will be allowed to go once they
become certified and are under the
protection of the ADA (Americans with
Disabilities Act). Puppy sitters are asked
to help with the training by reinforcing
what they have already learned. We
supply crates, food and toys.

Debbie King works at the Stockade
and is our best puppy sitter! She
takes the puppies home almost
every weekend! She says "My
husband always reminds me to
make sure I don't forget to bring
them home! He loves them!"
Above: TIvo and Tash enjoy some
play time in the yard while the inmates
look on.  This is them at 16  weeks!
See how they've grown!
Below: At eight months.
Each puppy has a team of two
trainers. That way, when one trainer
completes her sentence there is still
another trainer to help out.
Special Thanks to the Animal
Rescue League for employing two
of our trainers as kennel helpers.
We appreciate their belief in
second chances.
Special thanks to Dr. Berkenblit and his
staff at Village for taking such great care of
Tivo and Tash, and many other local service
dogs.
