The trainers are bonding with their new
charges by offering massages and
special quiet time as instructed by CCI
Instructor Kathy Kilpatrick, below.
The green tint on Solis' fur is a result of
the ear tattoo process and will fade over
time.
The official veterinary team for
Tivo, Tash, Solis and Samurai.
Village has been donating their
services to service dogs for
many years.
Samurai at 8 weeks playing with his brand-new toys.
Co-trainer bonds with
his puppy, Solis. Together, they will
learn many new things and will
eventually make an enormous
contribution to the disabled community.
Our female team with Tivo and Tash. It's hard to believe
these puppies were ever as small as our new ones! And, if
Tivo and Tash ask Solis and Samurai "Who's your daddy?"
They can reply, "Same as yours!" as they are all
half-brothers, having been sired by the same dog!
Keep an EYE on this
site and check back
often!
It takes a village to raise a puppy! Or a dormitory
full of determined inmates!
Solis and Samurai check out their play area
just as Tivo and Tash did before them!
It's lights out for now, but check
back often to see how we grow!!!!
And then there were four!
I love my job!
On Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at
approximately 10:00 am, two very tired
puppies arrived at Palm Beach
International Airport from San Francisco
to make history. Their arrival here is
testament to the success of our program.

And so, we ask you to watch this site for
updates on our two new inmates, Samurai
and Solis (rhymes with lease)-two
adorable 8-week old golden
retriever/yellow Labrador crossbreds as
they progress towards their new careers
as service dogs for the disabled.

Thank you to our new inmate trainers
who stepped up to volunteer for this
important mission.
